Tour Itinerary

Your driver will meet you at the agreed pickup point in Delhi in the early morning. The road trip to Jaipur typically takes around five to six hours by the usual NH-48 route, though journey times may vary with traffic and the route chosen. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you cross into Rajasthan. On arrival in Jaipur check into your hotel, refresh, and begin a full day of sightseeing.

Start with Amber Fort, where the red-sandstone walls and ornate palaces give you a sense of Rajput grandeur. From Amber head to iconic viewpoints like Hawa Mahal, where the honeycomb façade of the Palace of Winds makes for memorable photos. Continue to the City Palace complex, a living museum of royal artifacts and courtyards, then visit Jantar Mantar to admire the world’s largest stone astronomical instruments. In the afternoon, explore local bazaars—Johari Bazaar for jewelry and Bapu Bazaar for textiles and mojris. Enjoy an evening sampling Rajasthani cuisine and return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast you will depart Jaipur for Pushkar. The road distance is roughly 140 to 150 km and the drive usually takes about three to four hours depending on traffic and stops en route. On arrival in Pushkar, begin with the spiritual heart of the town, Pushkar Lake, surrounded by a series of ghats where pilgrims perform rituals and locals gather at sunrise and sunset. Walk the lakeside ghats and soak in the contemplative atmosphere.

Visit the rare Brahma Temple, one of the very few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, and climb (or take the short drive) to Savitri Mata Temple for panoramic views across Pushkar and the surrounding hills. If time allows, explore the lanes of Pushkar Bazaar for handicrafts, antiques, and camel leather items. Late afternoon, either head back to Jaipur or continue onward to Delhi depending on your travel plans. If returning to Delhi directly from Pushkar expect a longer drive; many travelers choose to overnight in Jaipur again or continue their Rajasthan road trip.
